Liberty, MO, June 27, 2015. – Chris Wolfenbarger, BOD member of The Foundation for Exceptional Warriors was the guest speaker and panel moderator for a first of its kind Veteran’s Form hosted by the Liberty Sam’s Club. This event is the second annual Military Appreciation Event Honoring Veterans, Active and Retired Military and First Responders. Sam’s Club rolled out the red carpet for our local heroes with a Honor Ride for the Colors provided by the AMVETS 181 Riders. The American Legion provided the color guard. AMVETS Post 181 provided logistical support and scheduled the panel members.

Ron Thiewes, Veteran Mentor, Clay County Veteran Court
This was a first of its kind form with spirited questions from the crowd and candid answers from the panel. The FEW and AMVETS 181 would like to give special thanks to Nancy Bishop with Sam’s Club for conceiving this unique event and for helping Sam’s Club to see the value in it.
