*Calling all power boats and fishing people near or around Truman Lake, Missouri.* Fishing For Freedom’s F3 event on October 11th and 12th at Truman Lake, Missouri is quickly approaching. The FEW is grateful to be sending a warrior and would appreciate any and all sponsorship.
Do you have or know anyone who might be able to provide:
1. Any boat, 15 feet or longer, powered by a motor of 50 horsepower or more with a kill switch will be accepted. All boats must meet B.I.A. and Coast Guard requirements. No Over Powered Boats. Stick Steering will not be allowed. Each boat must have a functional bilge pump and livewell space, properly aerated, capable of keeping alive the daily limit of fish.
2. We are also in need of volunteers to help. We are especially in need of volunteers with the skill to back a boat and trailer. With 165 boats this year the more qualified help we have the better! Please ask folks to register through the website if they can help! We have a volunteer coordinator who will maximize the use of our volunteer staff!
3. We are also still in need of cash donations, items for the Warriors “goodie bags”, etc. With our increase in warriors comes an increase in cost as we pay for all their expenses while at the event. Sponsors will receive tremendous personal satisfaction for helping out these brave Americans. With support, there is significant opportunity to have a tremendous impact on our warriors and their families. Only the generosity of caring local and regional anglers, donors, and the event’s sponsors make this event possible.
