About our Partner – The Foundation for Exceptional Warriors
The BOK Center and SMG Tulsa have created a partnership with an extremely deserving organization for Whiskey Well. The Foundation For Exceptional Warriors, otherwise known as The F.E.W., is an Oklahoma-based foundation benefitting the heroes across our nation who defend our country’s freedom and pay the ultimate sacrifice every day. The F.E.W. has defined its focus as “Assisting Wounded Warriors, Prisoners Of War, those recognized for acts of Valor, and Special Operations
of Every Era.”
Statistics show more veterans are dying from suicide, 18-22 per day, than in combat operations. The F.E.W. has made it their mission and utmost priority to save the lives of our veterans. The organization provides therapeutic recreational and sporting events, at both the local and national level, customized to enhance the mental and physical health of our nation’s heroes. They also strive to assist in the successful reintegration of these warriors with their families and communities.
The F.E.W. proactively reaches out to exceptional warriors and pursues opportunities on their behalf in the form of therapeutic recreation with high expectations of the potential to save thousands of our nation’s heroes.
