As the Traveling Vietnam Wall makes a stop in Kansas City for the Memorial Day weekend, The Foundation for Exceptional Warriors – The FEW gets a chance to assist our Vietnam Era brothers in AmVets Post 181. The FEW delivered our Tank Chair to Post 181 this week so that they can make it available to members of the community with limited mobility. This will provide them an opportunity to fully experience the memorial to their service. Tankchair is a strong sponsor of the FEW. Their tank-style chairs are designed to provide greater access to rough outdoor terrain for people with mobility challenges. The FEW uses its Tankchairs to provide disabled warriors with full access to our events. The FEW is grateful that we can provide this type of support to our Vietnam Era brothers.
The Traveling Vietnam Wall is being exhibited this Memorial Day weekend at the National World War I Memorial at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City. Please consider coming out to pay your respects to these honored men and women.
