The FEW in Cabo – every Marlin offers an epic battle even for our Exceptional Warriors

The Foundation for Exceptional Warriors makes it a point to send multiple warriors on an event, allowing them to bond and heal. But when a last minute, international, single warrior event presented itself, The FEW’s Board of Directors made a surprising decision; it was time for the Executive Director and Exceptional Warrior Ronny Sweger to go fishing.

This was the third of four events where The FEW had partnered with Nissan and Bonnier to get national exposure for their mission. It was an opportunity they could not pass up, but also one that they could not send one of their traditional participants.

The FEW’s BOD is very proud to introduce this video. This is the product of countless hours involving the Nissan Film Crew, Bonnier’s Staff, and Saltwater Sportsman Magazine Team and earned earned by the countless hours of volunteering by Ronny Sweger. Enjoy!

A former Green Beret, now medically retired after missions in Afghanistan, Iraq and other troublesome places across the world, Sweger volunteers full time with The FEW and other organizations, coordinating fishing, hunting and outdoor adventure experiences for other exceptional warriors. This trip, his board of directors decided, was his. They insisted it was his turn to finally take some time for himself and go fishing.
